24 m passengers in March 2018

24.3 m passengers traveled by rail in March 2018 (-8%). During the first quarter of this year 72 m passengers traveled by train. This result is lower than in the same period of 2017.

In March 2018, transport performance was at the level of 1.5 bn pass-km (-3%) and operating performance 14.1 m train-km (-1%). The average distance of a passenger journey was at the level of 64 km.

In the first quarter of 2018 the number of rail passengers was by 4.7% lower than in Q1 2017. The transport performance also dropped by 1.3%. The operating performance increased and was at the level of 41.3 train-km (+2.4%).
